Club T-Shirt

To celebrate the club's 5th anniversary in 2015 we had t-shirts made. They featured original artwork from our very own Sensei Fabio. We are about to organise a new batch of t-shirts. The design will be refreshed and printed on Neoteric™ textured fabric with inherent wickability. Just Cool JC001

The design features a daruma doll, incorporating the kenkon symbol. The back of the t-shirt has the Japanese phrase Nanakorobi Yaoki.
Darumas are still usually made of papier-mâché, have a round shape, are hollow and weighted at the bottom so that they will always return to an upright position when tilted over. In Japanese, a roly-poly toy is called okiagari, meaning to get up (oki) and arise (agari). This characteristic has come to symbolize the ability to have success, overcome adversity, and recover from misfortune.[6] In Japanese popular culture on cards, banners and books, Daruma is often illustrated alongside the phrase "Nanakorobi Yaoki" (七転八起), translated to mean "seven times down, eight times up". - Wikipedia
Adult t-shirts will be £25 (possibly plus shipping) - Kids t-shirt prices to be confirmed
