Sensei Martin Stockley 2nd Dan
Martin has been training in karate for over 8 years. He began training in Wado Ryu as a teenager, under Sensei Nick Quilliam in his home town of Stroud. After a long break and time at university Martin started again, initially trying a mixed style of karate. Martin later found a Goju Ryu club in Southampton, run by Sensei Simon Budden, 5th Dan, and he hasn’t looked back. Having moved to Cambridge, he continues to train weekly with Sensei Dave Amber, 4th Dan, in Harlow and regularly with the OTGKA chief instructor Sensei George Andrews, 7th Dan.
Martin was awarded his 1st Dan in June 2008 and 2nd Dan in September 2010.

Sensei Louise Stockley 2nd Dan
Louise began training in karate 7 years ago. Having started in another style, she began training in Goju Ryu in Southampton under the instruction of Sensei Simon Budden, 5th Dan. After moving to Cambridge she travels weekly to Harlow to continue her training with Sensei Dave Amber, 4th Dan. She also trains regularly with the OTGKA chief instructor Sensei George Andrews at the Honbu dojo in London.
Louise was awarded her 1st Dan in December 2008 and 2nd Dan in March 2011.
Both instructors are trained in first aid.
